DJ Chirag Exclusive Interview for EDMDroid Asia
1. Please tell us and our readers more about the nightlife in the Emirates right now in times of Covid, specially in your home town Dubai.
Nightlife in the Emirates is doing really well at the moment. Since 90 percent residents have been vaccinated in Dubai, they have allowed 100 percent capacity in the nightclubs, restaurants, bars and lounges. Clubs have been super packed over the weekends.2. How long have you been DJing and what can we expect next from DJ Chirag?
I have been Djing since 8 years now. Have done shows all over india. Did a tour in USA as well. Performed with a lot of big artist in the music industry like badshah, b Praak , honey singh, guru randhawa, Neha Kakkar, Mika singh and more. The next thing my friends, family and fans can expect is an original track releasing soon on a really good music label. My focus now is to work on producing and composing original tracks for the industry and doing food quality shows in the Emirates and Pan India
3. What has been your best and your worst gig experience so far. Be honest please, don't hold back.
My best club gig so far has been in one of the biggest night club in India which is called Club Prism in Hyderabad. Where I had approximately 2000 people who attended my show, that was the best club show of my life. I also have a good experience in concerts in the emirates where I have performed with many big artist in the music industry like I mentioned above where I have played music for more than 15,000 people. My worst gig so far has been in the club called Spree in Dubai because that was my first ever show and I was a bit nervous and dint play what the crowd wanted.4. If you had to choose, which profession would you be going with? DJ or something else?
Honestly, Djing is not really my profession. For me Djing and music is more like hobby and passion. I have always been passionate about music and Djing since I was a child. I have my own family business which is my actual profession. But I can never stop Djing5. Top 3 tracks at the moment?
Top 3 tracks of mine at the moment are Bollywood songs ( Ranjha by B Praak, Naughty Saiyaan Ji by Honey singh & Insane by AP Dhillion ).6. With which intl. act would you love to collaborate and why?
It’s my dream to do a collaboration with DJ Khaled. Because he is one of the best music producers I have ever heard.7. Are you keen on cooking up an exclusive mix for us and our readers ? (60min)

9. What are your work-related plans for 2022, your career and beyond?
Like I mentioned above my only focus is to produce and compose original tracks for the music industry. And do food quality shows in 202210. Please provide us some insights about how you feel it is different to make it in this industry as a touring DJ and resident DJ abroad ? Have you had different experiences in different parts of the world and what do you think this still industry needs right now to get back to what is was pre-pandemic?
Well honestly, I would recommend the fellow Djs to start off their career with being a resident DJ in one particular club in one city only to gain some good experience and meet different kind of people every single day. Being a resident DJ, one has to be playing every night and different genres so it’s a really good experience. After a period of time once you have a good experience and knowledge in music you can start doing shows in different clubs but in the same city. Post that, when you go to different cities for a holiday or any other work trip, I would recommend a DJ to first go their night clubs and hear their resident DJs and get the feel what people like in thag particular city then you can start doing shows in that city and start touring. Well like i mentioned above I have done shows In almost every part of the world. What I feel is that night clubs should start booking International djs or singer to attract more crowd and pick it up the way it was pre pandemic. Rest you can’t do much keeping in rules and regulations of different countries in mind11.
